There's a big EV market and there's obviously a desire for self-driving level 3-4 etc.
But not sure there's a "progressive and high-growth AI-driven EV market", that's a strange mouthful of random segments that are growing. I don't think the EV market is driven by AI, more like a desire for self-driving and AI might be the solution there (maybe?).
I mean, obviously they're not going to say it out loud, but making EVs into SaaS platforms is the only way to replace the mechanical service replacements.
There's a split between the infotainment system and the self-driving, and this chip is for the infotainment. The only way EVs really come into it, is that they are where the cutting edge of car development is happening. The newer cars have AI based voice control because keyword based systems are hard for people to learn when they go beyond a few simple commands. For example there are many ways you could ask the car to set the passenger's temperature to 21 degrees, or play music from a specific folder on the stereo.
Self-driving cars for Transportation-as-a-Service please! I'm sick of owning a vehicle. I'm sure most of the US would love to see the horse-hole SUV owners and morons that modify their gas guzzlers no longer own vehicles over there as well.

Even if you "own" your car, many features of it will still likely be subscription-based.Sounds like you're going to LOVE that!

would this not be adaptable to a secure, standalone whole home management system? Entertainment, Home security video and sensors, and home automation?
